The Sens have been generous enough to donate a pack of four tickets to their Sens Skills Competition taking place on Wednesday, December 28 at 1 p.m.

What does this day entails? The official website explains more…

Sens Skills presented by Metro will see the Senators team split into two squads to compete head-to-head in the same skill events that fans in Ottawa will witness during the 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend, set to take place a little more than one month later. Last year, Team Phillips emerged victorious with a 13-7 win over Team Alfredsson.

Participating alongside the Senators will be 10 minor hockey skaters and two goaltenders from the National Capital Region. The 12 competitors will be chosen through the Senators Mini One-on-One, minor hockey program.

Not only will it be a great afternoon of family fun, but the net proceeds from the competition go to the Sens Foundation and the NHLPA’s Goals & Dreams Fund!

So how can you get your hands on the tickets?

Since the Sens Skills event is meant to get Ottawans excited about the 2012 NHL All-Star weekend, all you have to do to win is let us know that you registered and voted for your favourite Ottawa Senators players to play on the All-Star team. You don’t have to send us any confirmation of registration – we’re working on an honour system here.

Drop us a comment or a tweet and we’ll enter you into the draw!

Here’s how our Ottawa players stand after the second round of voting:

Note: since Local Tourist is going on a short Christmas break, we need you to be available to pick up the tickets on the evening of December 23!
